Making home moving easier
Forging new ideas and ways of approaching common pain points for law firms and home movers, InfoTrack’s vision is to make the process easier, more secure, and faster for all. The end-to-end approach starts with legal and financial checks on home movers and gathering important information about the property from the home seller.
InfoTrack’s Electronic Client Onboarding Solution (eCOS) enables firms to perform digital ID checks, conduct fraud checks, and gather detailed financial and property data that is crucial at the start of a transaction. Once a client is onboarded, InfoTrack helps the conveyancer to create a digital contract pack and order the necessary local authority, property, and environmental searches.
One of InfoTrack’s biggest innovations enables conveyancers to create and personalise a property report for the home buyer, quickly and accurately. These reports automatically draw on HM Land Registry data and information contained in the searches. They also rely on a digital library of regulatory information and legal precedents InfoTrack has built to ensure the advice the home buyer receives is always up to date.
At post-completion, InfoTrack pioneered software to enable firms to digitally lodge the forms with HM Land Registry. This initiates the ‘updating of the register’ and the official record of the transfer of ownership of the property. Since then over 1.4 million register updates have been made using InfoTrack’s technology. It has become the standard approach across the industry.
